Pink viruses take two hits, and black virus take three hits. The game gets faster as it progresses, and new variations of viruses are introduced. The game is an endless version of the original, ending once a single virus gets through to the end without being stabbed. The player has multiple chances to vanquish the virus, though leaving it to pass through the first three tubes isn't counted as a miss. Normally it respawns, but it doesn't do so in the Trials and the Endless Game where the amount of organisms represent how many lives the player has before the game is over. Miss.: The virus gets through, and kills the yellow organism, causing the doctor to turn blue in shock.Early!/Late!: The virus is stabbed, but only at it's edge.Perfect!/Ace!: The virus is stabbed by a fork.✚/ Tap: Shoot left, right, up, and/or down.If even a single virus gets to the end, the organism will pop. They use ✚ to shoot the viruses from one of four directions, depending on their placement on the map.
